The newly formed Friends of the Hubbardston Public Library will be holding a used book sale on Saturday, October 18 from 9 am until 4 pm at the Library. Used books are being collected during the Library's open hours through the week of the sale.
Stop by on the 18th to pick up some good reads and great treats!

I just read Laura Foley's posting at the Hubbardston message board.
It is we the citizens who should thank FOHPL and the Library Ladies for their efforts in keeping alive the hopes of better things for the library. Nice job, and I am glad that last week's Trustee meeting afforded me the opportunity to put faces to the names of all who are actually working to affect solutions to this knotty problem.
